Jane Ainbinder

Jane is an award-winning filmmaker who has created content for documentaries, narrative films, commercials and corporate videos.  Her expertise in directing, producing, cinematography and editing have garnered awards in the festival circuit and her work has screened globally.  After graduating with an MFA from USC School of Cinema Television in 1996, Jane worked for 10 years as a broadcast commercial editor.  During this time she also kept her hand in independent filmmaking and directed, shot and edited many documentaries and narrative films.  Eventually, Jane wrote, directed and co-produced Nail Polish, a narrative feature length 35mm film that screened in festivals nationally and in 2007 won two awards.  Eager to combine her vast experience as an independent filmmaker and a commercial editor, Jane created Backtalk Films where she now produces content for small businesses, non-profits and other independent filmmakers.
